Every year for the past twelve years, Improv Everywhere has orchestrated a No Pants Subway Ride day – and this upcoming Sunday is when this years pantless shenanigans will commence. The folks brave enough to bare buns (and possibly more) will likely know how to handle themselves – the real worry is how regular passengers conduct themselves.

In an odd turn of luck, WPIX 11 (the CW affiliate in NYC) ran a Seinfeld Food Truck on the street right near where I work. The long line was guarded by the SOUP NAZI HIMSELF!

After waiting a while in line after the video was shot, I had the Soup Nazi shout, “NO SOUP FOR YOU!” because my suit was wrinkled. I was denied free soup from the truck, but I did get a box of Junior Mints and a Snapple!

(I was told by those who did get the soup that it was very good)

TOMSKA MEETUP, NYC, 7/14/12

It’s not often that you get to meet one of your heroes, but TODAY WAS SUCH A DAY! I met with the Internet’s own Tomska (and a host of others from across the pond) at a meetup in NYC’s Washington Square park! And I saved a woman’s life from a bee! And I got a pair of sweet wristbands from Tomska himself! And I found out that Jenny’s favorite stage show is Rent! And I found out that I’m older than most of Tomska’s fans by more than ten years I think.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!

Big thanks to Tomska, Jenny, and all the rest for taking the time and meeting your fans out in the crazy heat after no sleep!
